Butterfly bits for horses Stübben

Width: 12.5 / 13.5 / 14.5 cm Canon: 16 mm Branch: 14 cm Central part in Soft Copper

The butterfly brid le is particularly suitable for obsatcle jumping. It increases the rider's control over the horse, especially in tight curves. The double curvature and central olive in soft copper make it an ergonomic bit. The many possible combinations, depending on the choice of rein placement and side, soft or strong, produce highly variable effects. Below, we describe the combinations of reins and alliances: 1. Reins on the central ring: the action of the bit is similar to that of a Baucher snaffle. The main action is on the horse's mouth, while the pressure on the nape of the neck is very light. 2. Reins on the lower ring: the leverage effect is stronger. So the bit is similar to a 3-ring snaffle, but the pressure is distributed evenly over the horse's mouth and neck. 3. Medium impact is achieved by using alliances attached to the middle and bottom rings. 4 A curb chain can also be used, attached to the top ring. Thanks to canon 2in1 the butterfly snaffle has two additional levels of intensity in the horse's mouth by simply turning the bit 180 degrees:

1 bit - 2 distinct actions - Stubben STEELtec 2-in-1 bits feature a canon with two levels of action intensity. Select the intensity level just by turning the bit. - Position the canon with the + sign to the left of the mouth to choose the more active side. This allows the rider to have more precise and measured hand actions. - Position the canon without sign on the left side, the softer side is chosen. This bit is suitable for the most sensitive horses. - Alternating these 2 uses helps prevent desensitization of the horse's mouth.

Advantages of the Soft Copper center part: - An alloy that helps the horse to accept the bit better. - Copper gives the horse a pleasant taste when it comes into contact with its mouth, encouraging it to chew and salivate, thus relaxing its jaw. - Soft copper is a compound of: solid copper 90%, iron 7% and aluminum 3% (nickel-free). Soft copper is a very strong alloy. - Horses love Soft Copper

Advantages of a double-broken snaffle: - The double-broken snaffle provides great comfort for the horse, thanks to the olive-shaped central part and the small joints. This allows canon to be positioned comfortably in the horse's mouth. - The horse naturally accepts the bit better. - No painful pressure on the palate. - Even distribution of pressure from the rein into the horse's mouth. - No nutcracker effect - Facilitates communication between horse and rider.

Quality Stübben STEELtec: - The edges of Stubben STEELtec bits' ring holes have rounded edges, minimizing the risk of pinching. - Long-lasting durability thanks to the choice of high-quality materials - the attention to detail that goes into the ergonomic design and durability of the bits.
