Description
The neck of the horse plays a very important role in its locomotion and behavior. Its dorsal part (more particularly the occiput-atlas joint) is the most exposed to traumas and compressions which are at the origin of more than 90% of nuchal problems. The function of the HEADSET (patented technology) is to move the pressure exerted by the headrest towards the atlas-axis vertebrae and thus preserve the occiput-atlas joint. It is composed of a comfortable cup on which the strap is fixed, 7 cm behind the normal application point, by means of two straps. The HEADSET strap, which no longer rests on the ears, can be much wider than a standard strap, which has the added advantage of distributing the pressure over a larger surface. The bonnet acts as a browband, which is eliminated, another source of comfort. A traditional net can be used. In this case, the browband must be removed and the use of the adapter and an unbuckling strap is recommended.
