Description
This double snaffle ring bit is distinguished by the canon which features cherry rollers and a soft iron coating (Sweet Iron). The moving cherry rollers encourage your horse to grasp the rollers and play with them. This not only ensures relaxation, but also natural saliva production and good bit acceptance. In addition, the moving rollers make it more difficult for the horse to grasp the bit.
Product features:
Sweet Iron bits are made of blue steel and release a sweet-tasting surface rust on contact with saliva. This sweet taste stimulates salivation, causing the horse to foam more in the mouth and better accept the bit.
The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a smooth, even pressure distribution. The canon bit is in three parts. The central part of the canon lies flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than with a single ring bit. The thicker the central part, the greater the pressure on the tongue.
A ring bit is a bit with separate bit washers. This type of bit is generally well accepted, as the canon is relatively loose in the mouth.
Maintenance:
If a soft iron bit is not used for some time, a layer of orange-brown rust may form on the canon. This can be easily removed by wiping the bit with a damp cloth.
