The down blanket is often used by professionals as an underblanket. The blanket retains body heat and prevents the cold from penetrating. No more hassle with crossed surcingles and the pressure of multiple front closures because the comforter contains no closures.
Fabrics and materials
The interior and exterior of the horse comforter is made of polyester microfiber. This fabric has a soft cotton feel and stays in place better. The comforter is filled with a 300 gram fiber. This material consists of several layers of filling in which warm air can circulate. This creates a cocoon of warmth around your horse, while remaining breathable. The fiber padding does not absorb any odor and always returns to its original shape.
Shape and size
The down blanket can, thanks to its large rectangle shape (200 x 180), be used on different types of horses. This is very practical for cavaliers with several horses because the blanket always fits. The blanket stays, thanks to the polyester microfiber, in place under the autres blankets. If you want to use an elastic band to keep the blanket in place, there are strap passages in nylon. For a better grip, a cotton shirt can be used under the underblanket. The extended neckband provides additional coverage. And thanks to the lack of pressure between the blanket and the manes, there is no rubbing. The neckband can also be folded for extra coverage.
Care Guide
The down blanket is washable at 30 degrees. We recommend that you air dry the blanket afterwards.
