What's special

Our chest protector is ideal for horses that easily get rub marks on pressure points. The chest protector can be used under a stable rug, underblanket or outdoor rug to prevent rubbing. The protector is easy to put on, just slip it over the horse's neck and close the Velcro fastener behind the front legs.

Fabrics & materials

The outside of the chest protector is made from a blend of polyester and Lycra. On the inside, the chest protector is made of a blend of lycra and our well-known artificial rabbit skin. The artificial rabbit skin is placed on the parts most sensitive to rubbing. A Velcro fastening secures the protection behind the legs. As the product is made from Lycra, it adapts easily to all body shapes.

The chest protector is available in four sizes: S, M, L, XL. It is available in one classic color: black.

Care guide

Machine washable

Most of our products are machine-washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing as infrequently as possible and using our protective wash bags to maintain long-term quality. We also recommend the use of professional washing machines (larger capacity) to limit damage caused by the washing machine drum. To dry the product, simply place it in the open air on a sunny day. The dryer is not recommended.
