Special features
The All Weather Hurricane neck cover is used in combination with our All Weather Hurricane outdoor blanket. The neck cover is available in 0g and 150g to suit your horse's needs. It detaches easily thanks to a strong hook-and-loop fastener. Thanks to the 100% waterproof and windproof exterior, the neck warmer is sturdy and can be used for horses that are out in the meadow all day.
Fabrics and materials
The neck cover features the same PU coating as the weather protection blanket, so your horse benefits from maximum protection against rain and wind. This PU coating is applied to the outside of the neck cover, which is unique on the equine market. As the coating is applied to the outside, the neck cover remains completely waterproof and requires no special treatment. The coating also prevents the fabric from tearing. The inside of the neck cover is lined with artificial rabbit skin, to protect the horse's manes. The artificial rabbit skin offers extra warmth and is soft to the touch. This makes the neck cover perfect for horses with sensitive skin. For extra warmth, we've added 150g of fiber padding inside. This padding works as an extra insulating layer to retain body heat.
Shape and size
The neckline is equipped with four strong hook-and-loop fasteners. These fasteners are located on the inside of the neckline, so that there is no gap between the blanket and the neckline to prevent water from getting inside. To close the neckline at the front, there are two sturdy hook-and-loop fasteners with artificial leather parts for a classic look.
Care guide
When the neck cover gets muddy, simply clean it with jet water. For a thorough cleaning, you can wash the neck warmer at 30 degrees. The neck warmer does not need any special waterproof treatment, as washing does not damage the waterproof coating. We recommend that you leave the neck cover to air-dry.
