Pelham for horse Anatomic courtes

The pelham bit is often indicated to better control strong horses with blood.

It causes a lowering effect when the reins are fixed on the lower ring and a slight lifting effect when they are fixed on the big ring.
The longer the branches of the bit, the greater the leverage effect.
The pelham can be used with 2 or 4 reins.

It is also possible to use it without a curb chain to soften its action on the mouth.
You can also use a leather strap to replace the metal curb chain.
