The anatomical bit Sweet Iron from Waldhausen stands out due to its mouthpiece that is suitable for all horses. The Sweet Iron series is made of blue steel: it begins to oxidise when in contact with moisture (air), resulting in the formation of a nice brown-grey rust on the surface. This stimulates the horse's salivation. They foam more, which increases their acceptance of the bit.
