Description

Olive bit small barrels Premier Equine

This is a good choice for horses with small mouths or large tongues, as the slight curve of the mouthpiece reduces the action of the nutcracker and prevents the bit from making contact with the roof of the mouth. The fixed houndstooth cheeks help reduce vibration in the reins, giving the horse a more stable feel. A single joint puts pressure on the lips and bars of the mouth. The thinner mouthpiece gives a slightly stronger action, but is still gentle enough to be used by beginners cavaliers.

Made of stainless steel, the most commonly used material for horse bits, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and will not rust. A great all-around bit that is suitable for many horses.

Stainless Steel Horse Bits...
Stainless steel is the most commonly used material for horse bits because it is durable, easy to clean and does not rust. Some of our stainless steel bits have copper mouthpieces that help create a warm feeling and encourage the horse to salivate and accept the bit. Stainless steel bits are suitable for a wide range of horses and are available in many designs, allowing you to choose the bit that is right for your horse and your discipline.

Pair your bit with one of our anatomical bridles.

Please note that for health and hygiene reasons, this bit is not returnable if removed from the model.
