Description

Double diamond-shaped olive bit in copper Premier Equine Eggbutt

The diamond in the center of this bit conforms to the shape of the tongue and helps to reduce the nutcracker action of a single-jointed bit, which helps to form a soft contact, allowing for clear rein aids. Copper is a warm metal that encourages salivation and biting on the bit. A useful bit for horses that tend to lean on the rider's hands.

Hollow-bottom cheeks are fixed, which gives them greater stability. They are recommended for horses that are unsure of their bit. Made of stainless steel, the most commonly used material for horse bits, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and will not rust. It is a great all-around bit that is suitable for many horses.

Stainless Steel Horse Bits...
Stainless steel is the most common material used for horse bits because it is durable, easy to clean and does not rust. Some of our stainless steel bits have copper mouthpieces that help create a warm feeling and encourage the horse to salivate and accept the bit. Stainless steel bits are suitable for a wide range of horses and are available in many designs, allowing you to choose the bit that is right for your horse and your discipline.

Pair your bit with one of our anatomical bridles.

Please note that for health and hygiene reasons, this bit is not returnable if removed from the model.
