Comfort
An elastic band at the back of the boot, positioned next to the YKK zipper, ensures a perfect fit on the rider's calf. This elastic band makes the boots more breathable. In addition to a sturdy closure, a leather flap on the upper calf is made up of 2 layers, one of which has a notch to accommodate the zipper head, making it impossible to open during exertion.
A shock-absorbing tongue at the back of the heel ensures maximum comfort for the rider in this sensitive area, while facilitating zipper closure.
EGO7 riding boots have a cowhide leather insole. A second pair of soles is included in antibacterial polyurethane covered with soft leather for tenfold cushioning, as well as being absorbent and breathable.
The shoe's rubber outsole is hand-stitched and molded for a secure grip on the stirrup. Lightweight and flexible, it reduces the boot's weight, making it comfortable to wear all day long.
Performance
Designed to support the rider's riding skills, the heel flap has 3 notches to allow height adjustment of the spurs and excellent stability when the leg comes into contact with the horse. With this in mind, the insole is slightly shaped to help position the ankle and better support the descent of the heels.
Designed to last over time, the seams are double-stitched on the stress lines subject to strain during effort, to increase resistance to wear.
The inside of the calf is made of E-tex, an innovative material that is insensitive to water (and therefore the horse's perspiration), aesthetically identical to leather but more resistant to wear and tear, and improves the sensation of contact with the saddle and mount. This supple material is ideal for intensive sports use, while maintaining an impeccable appearance.
Aesthetics
Full-grain cowhide leather is dyed to preserve the natural texture of the leather, which becomes more attractive with use. The lining is drum-dyed without coating or pigmentation, making the leather soft, absorbent, durable and burnishes superbly with use.
With its modern styling and top-of-the-range finish, the Aries EGO 7 boot will find its place in training as well as in competition, in dressage, show jumping or eventing.
