Put the gelatin bags or the whole package in the freezer for at least 2 hours.When needed, take them out of the freezer, put them on the pockets of the eArtik boots and apply them to the horse's legs. Normally we suggest an application time of 20 minutes but you should ask your veterinarian for the application time. You can also use the eArtik gelatin pouches for a hot treatment if necessary: put the gelatin pouches in the microwave oven for a maximum of 1 minute at 650 W. Remove them and apply them wherever you want. You must consult your veterinarian before applying any of the above treatments. Whether you apply cold, heat or a combination of both, always be careful.
