Mechanical and biological filter cartridges. Dirt particles are trapped by the porous foam. At the same time, the material provides a large surface area for the cleaning bacteria to colonise. Just a short while after starting up, the cartridges not only ensure mechanical cleaning but also the biological breakdown of harmful substances. The cartridges can be reused multiple times. For cleaning, simply rinse and wring them out so that the bacterial cultures are not completely destroyed. The foam mechanically retains dirt particles. Bacteria colonise the pores.
