Designed with ease of use rapide in mind, these snug-fitting ice boots target tendons with maximum cooling in the shortest possible time. The unique Hypo-Freeze gel stays soft and contours to the lower limb, ensuring optimal surface contact with tendons and fetlock joints. A swept back section covers the high suspension area often overlooked inautres boots.
These neat boots are discreet, making them ideal for travel and shows, as well as for everyday use at home. Because of their small footprint, they can fold flat and be easily frozen in confined spaces. The outer fabric acts as a soft envelope that's easy to manage and clean.
Regular use of Tendon Chill boots for short periods (10-20 min) after intense exercise for preventative purposes. The sooner tendon temperature can be reduced after work, the better. This applies equally to high-intensity dressage, canter, show jumping and cross-country.
Can be worn on front or hind legs. Sold in pairs.
Place boots flat in the freezer for at least 6-8 hours or overnight for best effect before application.
Press firmly to mold the gel to ensure close contact on the leg. Make sure the straps are closed but not too tight.
Use in short 30-40 minute sessions, or several times a day in severe cases.
Recommended to store in an insulated bag if you're taking it with you (e.g. to a show) to maintain the desired cooling effect.
