The waterproof outer shell in 1680 denier ballistic fabric is custom-made and cut to full width to eliminate leaks. Its silky anti-bacterial and anti-static lining balances effectively on your horse's back for self-righting in all weathers. The 350 g thermobonded padding provides a thick, durable layer of insulation.

Traditional blankets, which wrap around the horse's body, create tension in the shoulders and hind legs, which is restrictive and can cause chafing. Our world-patented two-part skirt breaks the tension, allowing free movement while maintaining warmth and protecting your horse's body from splashes. Crossed surcingles with a removable central strap secure the blanket firmly.

The design-registered 45° T-front closure, backed by a durable hook-and-loop fastener, offers a tight but pressure-free fit around the shoulder to allow free movement and avoid chafing.

The padded front neckline folds down for improved water protection and grazing comfort. Under the belly, adjustable crossed surcingles and a removable central strap effectively protect your horse from the elements.

Reflective safety straps and LeMieux branded stripes keep your horse even safer in low-light conditions. At the rear, a sturdy PVC-coated mesh strap keeps things snug and clean, while an extra-long breeching cover protects the top of the tail.

This blanket comes with a matching detachable collar and is compatible with the entire LeMieux blanket, bib and collar system. The LeMieux blanket system gives you ultimate blanket flexibility, whatever the season.
