Acavallo has carefully selected and combined the materials used, following detailed research and thorough testing.

Aluminium, in addition to giving the stirrups a sleek and refined look, is lightweight and exceptionally durable, while stainless steel protects the footrest from corrosion, ensuring a long product life.

The opening mechanism for locking and unlocking, triggered by stress, is located one centimetre higher than the footrest to ensure that the foot cannot slide laterally by mistake and to prevent sand and dirt from hindering the opening action of the arm in case of emergency.

Long openings in the footrest prevent the accumulation of sand and dirt so that the grip effect is not compromised, and a five-degree tilt of the footrest helps riders adopt the correct posture, relieving tension in their ankles, calves, knees, and hips.
