The helmet comes in several shell sizes (S, M or L ) to fit your skull as closely as possible. You must then choose your foam size, which will determine the final size of your helmet:
- Shell size S fits foam sizes 52 to 56
- Shell size M fits foam sizes 55 to 58
- Shell size L fits foam sizes 57 to 61
SHADOWGLOSSY
Inspired by women's hats, the Miss Shield Shadowglossy features a long visor and ribbon-like browband. This helmet meets the highest current safety standards: CE EN1384 (Europe) and ASTM/SEI (North and South America).
MATERIALS FOR OPTIMAL SAFETY
The outer shell of the Miss Shield Shadowglossy is made of polycarbonate, a material used for top-of-the-range motorcycle helmets. It is finished in high-gloss metallic paint.
The inner shell is made of variable-density polystyrene to dissipate energy in the event of impact.
STABILITY
The shape-memory foam liner guarantees a constant thickness over years of use, and the semi-rigid chinstrap eliminates any risk of the helmet tipping over in the event of violent movement.
The liner can be removed and washed at will, thanks to a highly resistant clip system.
PERFECT SIZE FIT
An in-depth anthropomorphic study has led to the design of an inner shell shape generating unrivalled comfort.
3 shell sizes are available: S, M, L.
Each shell can accommodate 4 to 5 different sizes of internal foam to ensure a perfect fit for the rider's head.
The range of sizes offered goes from 52 to 61.
This system also makes it possible to support the growth of a young rider.
POWERFUL INTERNAL AIR FLOW
Equipped with a front air intake, the Miss Shield Shadowglossy helmet provides exceptional ventilation.
Fresh air is channeled from the front air intake to extractors located at the rear of the helmet, around the liner, preventing perspiration.
This concept generates a powerful internal air flow, avoiding the need for visible and therefore unsightly air inlets: equestrian elegance is preserved without banishing technicality and comfort.
The Miss Shield Shadowglossy is available in black and blue.
The Miss Shield Shadowglossy is available with the dressage chinstrap option: this means that women who wear a chignon are not hindered by the port helmet. This chinstrap is 2.5cm shorter to allow the bun to pass through.
