Riding boots Orion EGO7:
With elastic laces, full-grain leather, an elastic band and an E-Tex inner panel, the top-of-the-range EGO7 Orion boots combine freedom of movement, comfort and aesthetics for the rider's performance.
Comfort
The leather insole features a 2 mm anti-shock layer for cushioning. A second pair of soles is supplied with the boot in antibacterial polyurethane covered with soft leather: for maximum shock absorption, also absorbent and breathable.
The rubber outsole is hand-sewn and has a grip effect on the stirrup. Lightweight and flexible, they reduce the shoe's weight for effortless all-day wear.
A shock-absorbing tongue has been added to the heel to protect this sensitive area, which is often subject to stress when riding, especially when closing the boot.
Available in multiple calf heights and widths, the Orion half-boot will fit all cavaliers thanks to its elasticated strap along the YKK zipper.
Performance
On the heel flap, 3 cleats at different heights are present to stabilize the spur and adjust it to the rider's needs.
The sole describes a wave-like motion to facilitate ankle movement and improve heel descent. The zipper at the back is heavy-duty and reinforced with 2 brass snap buttons at the top and bottom of the leg. The leather flap at the top is lined with a layer featuring a notch designed to accommodate the zipper head, making it impossible to open the boot during exertion.
In addition, EGO7 boots have double stitched seams along all stress lines under strain to increase resistance.
The inside of the calf is made of E-tex: a technical, water-resistant material with a leather-like appearance, soft enough to guarantee perfect feel and contact with the saddle and frame. Tests show that this fabric is more resistant to wear than leather itself, making it ideal for intensive riding.
Aesthetics
Made in Italie, the full-grain cowhide leather of EGO7 boots is dyed to retain its natural texture, which shows through with wear.
The leather lining is drum-dyed, a finishing process without coating or pigmentation, to retain softness, absorption and durability. Inflatable shoe trees are supplied with EGO7 boots to maintain a perfectly straight shaft when the rider is not wearing them.
Their modern design and top-of-the-range finish make them legitimate on show jumping competitions as well as dressage squares.
