Harborough reins, also called Thiedemann combination, are a combination of a martingale with extended fork ends and canvas reins with 3 semi-circular rings sewn in. The reins are a variant of the draFull reins with the difference that the ring exit is locked to the reins of the bridle. The rider holds only straight reins in his arms despite the auxiliary reins, and the maximum length of the neck depends directly on the length of the reins.
