The EDIX Django saddle is a treeless western saddle, handcrafted in cowhide fromorigine argentine, with beautiful edging and a refined, classic look. It offers comfort to rider and horse for long rides as well as for many autres western riding disciplines. The seat twist (waist) provides a narrow, comfortable, deep and secure seat. The seat is padded with foam and finished with brushed cowhide (suede). The seat neck can be adjusted by changing the interchangeable pommel. In the same style as the saddle, there are Django fenders and leather-covered stirrups.
The saddle itself consists of two parts: the upper part - the seating area for the rider, and the lower part - the base of the saddle, which is constructed with distinct pressure-distribution layers. EDIX MPDS: multiple pressure distribution system. These soft, flexible layers adapt to the anatomy of horse and rider. An Edix treeless saddle reacts optimally to the horse's movements. The total absence of rigid supporting parts allows the horse to move freely, especially the back and shoulder muscles, while improving communication between you and your horse.
The Django is equipped with the Edix circle-girthing system, which allows girth tension to interact along the entire length of the saddle as the connections are fixed to the front and rear of the saddle, unlike the middle or front of traditional western saddles. What's more, the position of the girth itself can be adjusted forwards or backwards to suit your horse. As a result, only the weight resulting from the rider's interaction will be in the center of the saddle.
Edix recommends the purchase of an Edix treeless saddle pad to complete the package: special treeless saddle pads are, by their construction, a complement to the pressure-distributing materials of treeless saddles. Edix saddle pads are anatomically shaped and equipped with the appropriate inlays to guarantee freedom of movement for the spine. If required, additional pressure- and position-distributing materials can be added. Position-correcting material can be added to the upper compartments of the insert to temporarily improve the position of the saddle. Edix offers various models of saddle pads to fit western saddles Django. You can choose between saddle pads with a wool base (genuine merino sheepskin) or with a synthetic wool finish. All Edix saddle pads are specially designed for the Edix treeless saddle, but are also suitable for many autres treeless saddle brands.
