The lightweight stirrup Lavello is made of aluminium, reinforced with L-shaped steel and a powder coating. This makes the stirrup very strong and durable.

The hinge safety mechanism is made of plastic that bends so the foot can be removed from the stirrup. The rider's weight triggers the stirrup to open in case of a fall. This way, the foot doesn't get stuck in the stirrup. As soon as the foot leaves the stirrup, it automatically closes. The sole is equipped with a non-slip pattern so that dirt doesn't stick to the stirrup. The stirrup sole is slightly angled, ensuring that the heel remains well down. The angled stirrup leather holder ensures a proper position of the stirrup, so the foot is well positioned. This provides more stability for the rider and improves the position of the leg.
