Acavallo 's renewed Arena AluPlus 2.0 stirrups are made of certified anodized aluminum. This makes the stirrups very sturdy and lightweight.
Safety mechanism:
The stirrup features a hinged safety mechanism with a small foot stop. The weight of the rider triggers the stirrup to open in the event of a fall. This prevents the foot from getting stuck in the stirrup. The foot stop ensures that the stirrup only opens when really necessary. As soon as the foot is out of the stirrup, the stirrup closes automatically. The hinged part is located at the top to prevent sand or dirt from obstructing the operation.
Product features:
The wide, highly-structured stainless steel anti-slip sole features recesses in the stirrup sole that also prevent dirt from sticking between the boot sole and the stirrup sole. The stirrup sole is slightly sloped, so that the heel stays low. The bevelled stirrup leather ensures that the stirrup is in the right position for the foot. This gives the rider greater stability and improves leg position.
