Easy to put on and adjust with buckles at the shoulder and girth. The neck strap loop allows this martingale to be attached to the horse's noseband (cavesson only). Finished with premium stainless steel fasteners, the Gressan is a perfect choice for flat work or flat work training.
Why use a standing martingale?
Standing martingales are used to prevent a horse from lifting its head significantly. When the horse attempts to raise its head, the single strap attached to the noseband prevents it from doing so. Standing martingales are very restrictive and should only be used by cavaliers with a good understanding of their horse's behavior. They should not be used for jumping.

Care instructions
To maximize the life of your martingale and avoid stains, we strongly recommend that you care for the leather after each use.
1. Use warm water on a damp cloth or soft sponge to gently remove dust, dirt and grease from the surface. Be sure to focus on the areas around the buckles and the main points of contact with your horse.
2. We recommend conditioning the leather with a soap/cream sparingly, taking care to rub gently and in a circular motion until all product has been absorbed.
3. Using a clean cloth, wipe excess soap/cream from the surface.
4. Allow the leather to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area away from any direct heat source.
