Description
Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) is an organic source of sulfur and a metabolite of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Sulfur is an important component of enzymes and immunoglobulins, and plays an important role in the formation of many tissues, including connective tissue. In addition, MSM has a positive effect on inflammatory processes.
Studies have shown the protective power of MSM on oxidation and inflammation induced by physical activity in horses. It has also been shown to support and relieve joints, allowing for improved overall locomotion.
