Muzzles

The bit allows the rider to act on the horse's head, neck & shoulders through the reins. The mouthpiece is placed in the horse's mouth to lead it, regulate its pace & direct it in the search for balance. Ideally, the bit should be as soft as possible in the horse's mouth. The choice of bit will depend on several parameters: the horse's morphology, the discipline practiced, the horse's reaction to its usual bit & the rider's search.
