The bridle bit is used on a bridle with a bridle thread (2 ring, olive or Baucher). It has a lowering effect by its lever. The barrel can be bridged or with tongue passage. The barrel slides on the branches on 10 to 15 mm. This relative independence of the barrel encourages the horse to play with his bit, to chew his mouthpiece, to mobilize his mouth & to relax his jaws.
