Cork, durable and unique - the breastplate "Cortica"
Cork products have long been a durable alternative to leather outside of equestrian sports. In equestrian sports, however, they are not as widespread. We want to change that from now on. As an equestrian company, we now offer riding accessories made of cork. We want to leave a lasting empreinte and offer cork horse lovers an excellent alternative to leather. The products have been developed and tested thoroughly for almost two years, constantly modified and adapted. The result is our durable, cork collection "cortica", consisting of bridle, reins, browband, breastplate, chaps, boots and spur straps.
The water-repellent cork lace boots are eye-catching thanks to their special material and the narrow decorative bey band. The specially designed mouldings offer maximum comfort at port. The boots have a narrow cut and relatively deep tension, which allows narrow feet to fit well in the boots. The high-quality insole ensures optimal pressure distribution in the footbed and is breathable for a comfortable feel. The non-slip rubber sole of the shoe is very flexible and allows for an anatomical roll-out, which is kind to the joints.
The 3-point vegan bib "Cortica" is narrow and elegantly cut with a contrasting cork as a decorative element. It is multi-adjustable and the lower carabiner is removable. No elastic inserts.

Durable and cork
Cork, the bark of the cork oak tree, is a renewable and biodegradable raw material. The cork oak tree can grow to over 300 years of age and is barked by hand every 12 years or so during its lifetime. This makes the tree more resilient and creates sustainable cork oak forests that prevent soil erosion, fix large amounts of CO2 and provide a very important ecosystem for many rare animals.
Durable and unique
Cork fabric, also known as cork leather, is highly tear resistant, durable and water repellent. The cork sheets from the bark are glued together with an organic adhesive to form larger, finely cut sheets. They are then put together like a puzzle and applied to a fabric backing, sealed and finally made into cork fabric. Like leather, each cork fabric is a very special and unique piece.
Easy to maintain
Cork products are easy to care for by simply wiping them gently with a damp cloth or sponge.
