For an optimal fit, the chest closure consists of Velcro and a double swivel chest closure. The elastic inserts on the cross surcingles and the deep tail strap prevent the rug from slipping off the horse and ensure a secure fit. In addition, the blanket has two eyelets on each side for attaching a neck piece. The neck piece matching the "Montreal" model is available under item number 467 40.

Use
The unpadded rowing blanket is often used for horses throughout the winter when they are not shorn, but still need support in their warmth. The blanket is also used as a transitional blanket in the spring and fall, especially for horses that are shorn or don't have much fur in the winter.
