Description
This high quality Baucher single bit, with ringed upward pointing prongs and leverage, is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy of 89% copper, 7% aluminium, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The material's oxidation process spreads a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a gentle, even pressure distribution. The combination of Cuprigan's design and unique composition help stimulate chewing and salivation, resulting in a delicate bond with the horse's sensitive mouth. The upward-pointing temples with a ring are turned slightly outwards, ensuring optimum freedom for the horse's head. The canon bit is 12 mm thick and the shanks are 110 mm long.
A Baucher bit has ascending legs with a ring for attachment to the uprights. Unlike autres snaffles, this bit has a little leverage and exerts pressure behind the ears. The bit is ideal for sensitive horses.
