Alpaca wool is finer and lighter than sheep's wool (lambskin), making it ideal for horses with sensitive girths. It is anti-static and anti-allergic, as it contains no lanolin (wool fat). What's more, the alpaca wool girth guard is extremely breathable and thermoregulating, so the horse sweats less in the girth.
This girth guard is the ideal choice for horses with inflamed sebaceous glands or irritated skin around the saddle.
