Special features
The All Weather Hurricane neck cover is used in combination with our All Weather Hurricane outer cover. The neck cover is available in 0g and 150g to suit your horse's needs. It is easily detached with a strong hook and loop closure. Thanks to the 100% waterproof and windproof exterior, the neck cover is sturdy and can therefore be used for horses that are out in the meadow all day.
Fabrics and materials
The neck cover has the same PU coating as the weather protection blanket, so your horse has maximum protection against rain and wind. This PU coating is applied to the outside of the neck cover, which is unique in the equine market. Because the coating is applied to the outside, the neck cover remains completely waterproof and does not require any special treatment. The coating also prevents the fabric from tearing. The inside of the neck cover is lined with an artificial rabbit skin to protect the horse's manes. The artificial rabbit skin offers extra warmth and is soft to the touch. This makes the neck warmer perfect for horses with sensitive skin. For extra warmth, we have added 150g of fiber padding inside. This padding works as an extra insulating layer to retain body heat.
Shape and size
The neckline is equipped with four strong hook and loop closures. These fasteners are located inside the neckline, so there is no gap between the blanket and the neckline so that water does not get inside. To close the neckline in the front, there are two strong hook and loop fasteners that have artificial leather parts for a classic look.
Care Guide
When the neck cover gets muddy, simply clean it with jet water. For a thorough cleaning, you can wash the neck warmer at 30 degrees. The neck warmer does not need a special waterproof treatment because washing does not damage the waterproof coating. We recommend that you let the neck warmer air dry.
