Joint Support is a nutritional supplement combining 4 ingredients: Glucosamine, MSM, collagen and chondroitin. These carefully dosed ingredients provide optimum support for your horse's joints. They promote the production of synovial fluid, nourish cartilage and joints, and help strengthen tendons and ligaments.
- Glucosamine is a constituent of cartilage and supports the body's production of synovial fluid. Research has shown that glucosamine supports cartilage metabolism and contributes to joint flexibility.
- Collagen is an elongated fibrous protein found in large quantities in connective tissue and cartilage. In case of deficiency, tissues lose their flexibility, leading to stiffening of muscles and a reduction in the cushioning function of cartilage.
- MSM, or methylsulfonylmethane, is an organically bound sulfur that is easily absorbed by the body. Sulfur is particularly important for collagen synthesis, essential for structure connective tissue and cartilage.
- Chondroitin is also an important component of cartilage tissue.
The various components above act in concert to strengthen joints.
USE :
Maintenance: 8 grams per 100 kg bodyweight per day. One level spoon contains 20 grams of Joint Support.
Ideally administered at the same time as the concentrated feed. For complete support, we recommend giving Joint Support continuously.
