The first rein exerts pressure on the jaws and nose, the second acts as an on/off curb chain. It is ideal for horses that are too hot and cannot tolerate a single pressure on the mouth, and for those who prefer a more even distribution of rein pressure. The shape is similar to the Comfort Bar, but the diameter is much thinner (15 mm), making it a recommended bit for ponies and horses with a small mouth.
