Description
The ÷Front Riser' is particularly suitable for horses that have high withers or have lost muscle and volume at the top of the shoulder and below the withers. The cushion has a minimal depth in the center and therefore does not increase the pressure under the pommel. However, its unique structure honeycomb design compensates for major areas of pressure. Traditional ÷wedge' risers that taper toward the back of the saddle often pivot on the withers and spine, increasing pressure under the front of the saddle and causing unwanted "rise" of the entire saddle.
The sticky nature of these pads ensures minimal movement, either laterally or back and forth, so they are actually anti-slip pads. They can be used in conjunction with the Acavallo Shaped Gel Pads or can be placed on any numnah, half-pad or square. Please note that these gel boosters are not suitable for direct use on the horse's skin.
- The active gel can be machine washed (30 degrees) or hand washed in a bucket of water with a little detergent (Fairy Liquid works very well).
- Do not use aggressive detergents.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not expose to direct heat or sunlight.
- Let dry naturally.
