Strap scabbard for horse LeMieux GP

These traditional girth sleeves are made from the same high quality Australian merino lambswool as the numnahs and are very effective against girth gaules, sweat build-up and rubbing in the girth area, especially with horses with sensitive skin. (80cm x 12cm). Can be cut to size.

• Remove hair, dirt and dried sweat with a stiff brush.


• Machine wash at 30° on a cold/wool cycle or hand wash.


• Use wool wash Lemieux (available from Horse Health).


• Straighten/flatten cotton fabric after washing.


• Air dry near a heat source. Never tumble dry.


• Avoid using harsh cleaning products.


• Warning: In rare cases, dye from black wool items can seep into wool items and give them a slight blue tint. Grey coats may be stained.
