Saddle Pad LeMieux Merino+

These high quality half pads are made from 100% natural Australian merino lambskin - the wool is much denser and softer than the older sheep's wool used in many competing numnahs. The spine is raised at the withers, reducing pressure on the spine and allowing air to circulate. Half pads are the best selling because they can be used with any saddle. They can be used on a thin cotton square or directly on the horse's back.

The button slots on the front edge allow them to be combined with all LeMieux D-ring saddle pads. This combination allows the use of the standard velcro girth for the saddle pads. This combination means that the standard velcro straps on the half pad can be removed if desired.

Information and care

• Remove hair, dirt and dried sweat with a stiff brush.
• Machine wash at 30° on cold/wool cycle or by hand
• It is recommended to wash in a wash bag
• Use wool wash Lemieux (available from Horse Health)
• Straighten/flatten cotton fabric after washing
• Air dry, away from any heat source. Never tumble dry.
• Avoid using strong cleaning products.
• Make sure all velcros are securely closed before washing.
• Warning: In rare cases, dye from black wool items can seep into wool items and give them a slight blue tint. Grey coats may be stained.
