The port of the foam in the Samshield helmet is MANDATORY.
Each set foam is designed for one helmet shell size
(S, M or L). The foam size will determine the final size of
your helmet:

• Shell size S is for foam sizes 52 to 56
• M shell size for foam sizes 55 to 58
• Shell size L fits foam from 57 to 61
• Samshield foam is extremely comfortable because elle is
  "memory foam".

Elle It adapts perfectly to the shape of your head and
