Flex-On stirrups model Safe On, "made in France", bringing safety to the Flex-On stirrup range!
Equipped with an external leg that opens in the event of a fall, the Safe On stirrup prevents the rider's foot from getting stuck in the stirrup.
Flex-on stirrups innovate by offering, in addition to a solid, lightweight design :
- a shock-absorbing system (floor supported by elastomer springs with "grip" or "ultra-grip" technology)
- an ergonomically shaped floor and stirrup leather passage (both offset from the stirrup leather for better connection with the horse)
- a unique customization concept with a removable sticker, as well as a choice of colors for the frame, floor, elastomers, etc.
The Flex-On stirrups in the Safe On range are made from an easy-care, bio-sourced polyamide material (cleaned with water), with an aluminum frame to reinforce the plastic part.
As with the Alu model, the stirrup levers are offset for optimum stirrup positioning.
FOCUS: Flex-on floors
Flex-on stirrups are available with two different floors: "grip" and "ultra-grip", to optimize grip and promote stability and maximum rider stability.
The Flex-on "grip" floor is made of a molded POM plastic part.
The "ultra-grip" Flex-on floor is made of a molded POM plastic part with crimped, treated steel spikes.
FOCUS: Flex-on trays
The Safe On Flex-On range is available with three different trays:
- flat with no inclination,
- inclined with a single incline
- endurance with double inclination and extra-wide floor.
Biomechanical study of Flex-on stirrups
Flex-on commissioned Sport-Contrôle, a leading medical and health consultancy, to carry out a study on the impact of Flex-on stirrups on rider fatigue.
Two specific tests were carried out, demonstrating through kinematic and vibration analysis that Flex-on stirrups are the most suitable for riding.
Overall, they are the most effective at absorbing vibrations from the various joints and reducing the workload on the muscles, whether to promote segmental alignment or to protect against vibrations.
