The NaturalintX HOOF POULTICE poultice has been designed to fit comfortably on your horse's foot, reducing preparation time and making application easier. Can be applied in three different ways depending on the wound to be treated, apply as a poultice either hot, cold or dry and hold in place with NaturalintX Wrap.

Directions for use
Hot poultice:
Soak the poultice in hot water, previously boiled, having been left to cool until it is touchable by hand. Once saturated, remove the dressing and gently squeeze out the excess water. Place the poultice on the affected area with the plastic side out. Hold in place with a NATURALINT-X Wrap.
Cold poultice:
Soak the poultice in cold, boiled water before applying to the area to be treated. The poultice can also be refrigerated by placing it in a plastic bag and then in a refrigerator.
Dry poultice:
Apply the poultice directly to the hoof to be treated. Make sure that the poultice is placed with the plastic part towards the outside, maintain in place with the NATURALINT-X Wrap.
CAUTION: Clean the area to be treated before applying the poultice. NATURALINT-X Veterinarian approved hoof poultice from NAF should be repeated at least every 12 hours and should not be used in conjunction with other medical preparations unless advised by a veterinarian.
WARNING Before applying the poultice to your horses hoof, make sure that the temperature is bearable on your own skin. Both extremes of hot and cold can be dangerous for your horse. Veterinary use only.
