Special features

Following the launch of our famous Bamboo gaiters, we decided to create a Velvet version of the same model. These gaiters are made from a solid EVA shell and laminated with our famous velvet fabric using an innovative new hot-pressing technology. The tendon area is reinforced with our bamboo shield to prevent penetration.

We've created our own test machine that generates a force of 80N when dropped on a horizontal horse leg with a razor-sharp axe. Our Bamboo gaiters are able to withstand this extreme test method, which cannot be compared to any real impact during riding.

Fabrics and materials

Bamboo elastic Velvet vegan sheepskin gaiters

Our famous velvet fabric is laminated onto EVA, which is then placed in the high-temperature hot-pressing mold.

Bamboo elastic Velvet mouton vegan gaiters feature a well-known, highly breathable 3D Spacer lining on the inside. This 3D Spacer fabric is also used in our 3D Spacer closed gaiters and horse blankets. The outer shell of the gaiters is made of lightweight but strong EVA, with an additional bamboo shield insert in the tendon area. EVA has excellent shock-absorbing properties. The gaiters are 35% more resistant than TPU gaiters. The bamboo shield is antibacterial.

Where the horse flexes, we've added a piece of soft natural rubber to prevent rubbing.

Thanks to all these properties, these gaiters are extremely comfortable for horses' legs.

Shape and size

Thanks to their anatomical shape, the gaiters adapt perfectly to the horse's leg, offering maximum comfort and protection. This gives the horse maximum freedom of movement for better jumping.

Care instructions

Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing as little as possible and using our protective wash bags to maintain long-term quality. We also recommend using professional machines (with larger capacities) to limit the damage caused by the drum of a normal washing machine. To dry, simply place outside on a sunny day. Tumble-drying is not recommended.
